The Giant Bull in Wautoma is installed in front of the Silvercryst restaurant and motel.
Elsie the Cow stands outside the village hall in Elsie. Not to be confused with Borden's Elsie, the town was actually named after the first child born in the town when it was settled back in 1857. This statue was originally located at a dairy farm in town. |

| The Eau Claire Bull was incorporated into the sign of Heckel's Family Restaurant. He wears a "cheesehead" hat typically worn by Green Bay Packers fans. By 2008, the Heckel's Eau Claire location had closed and the statue was moved to their Chippewa Falls location. There is also a fuzzy-coated bull on a trailer at that location. |

The Howard & Son Meatpacking bull could use some sprucing up.
The green Sherwood Inn bull is incorporated into their sign and has been here since at least the 1970s. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [photo thanks Mark Comstock] Cromer's Abattoir is another example of a steer-topped sign. |

The Worden's Meat building previously housed the Southtown Meat Co. This steer still remained on the pole next to the building in 2010.
Riscky's Steakhouse and the Cattlemen's Steakhouse are located in the historic Stockyards District. |

The Readfield Meats & Deli sign looks like it was designed to be used with this statue.
The second bull above is located in front of Taylor Cold Storage. This White Bull is installed at the Schumacher Trust Charolais Ranch. This abandoned steer has no business below him or sign of a nearby farm. |

| The Hilltop Steakhouse has about ten fiberglass bulls grazing in front of their restaurant. During the Christmas season, Santa hats are put on the statues. The restaurant is also well-known for its giant cactus sign. For more, see their website. |

Randy's Roadhouse BBQ features this rooftop bull in a derby and green bandana. The bull was there in 2005 when the building housed the Golden Nugget Saloon.
This Chicago Heights Giant Bull once stood on top of the "La Vaquita Restaurant" which is now gone. The bull now stands in an empty lot. Between 2006 (first two photos) and 2009 (other photos), not much had changed except for the addition of the advertising banner. |

Both of these Mr. Happy Burger locations, at opposite ends of town, feature bib-wearing Giant Bull statues. The Mr. Happy Burger Bull East does not have a chef's hat or the tongue. I don't know if he ever did. These statues are about 12 feet tall and were installed in the late 1970s. I wonder if these Mr. Happy Burgers were ever related to the one in Elwood, IN.
This Krekel's Custard location features a cow on the roof. The statue was left here by the previous restaurant that occupied the building. This location also features a Chicken Mobile. Krekel's has been around since the 1950s and has about five other locations in the area. For more, see this website. |
