Vindicator Building
Youngstown, OH
The Vindicator Building, aka the Youngstown Telegram Building, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is apparently Art Deco and looks late 1930s or early 1940s to me. Does anyone know more about it?

Telephone Building
Newark, OH
The Telephone Building appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s.

Isaly Dairy Plant
Youngstown, OH
The Isaly Dairy Plant was designed by Charles F. Owsley in the 1930s. The building was taken over by U-Haul in the 1970s. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.

House
Delphos, OH
Sparta Grille & Newark Coin Exchange
Newark, OH
This Delphos house is a mix of styles but it appears to be from the Art Deco era. It could also be a conventional older house updated with Art Deco trim and the addition of the two round structures at the building's sides. Does anyone know the history of this place?

The Sparta Grille and the Newark Coin Exchange are next door neighbors. These businesses occupy what appear to be older buildings which were updated in the 1930s or so. These businesses have typical Art Deco storefront elements: Vitrolite tile, glass block, and terrazzo entrances. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Kirby's Flowers & Gifts
Delphos, OH
IABC Building
Sandusky, OH
The Kirby's Flowers & Gifts building is also faced with vitrolite. The building was constructed in 1938. I believe Kirby's is the original tenant.

The IABC Building was built in 1941.

Fire Department and Municipal Building
Sidney, OH
This combination Fire Department and Municipal Building were built in 1939.

North High School
Akron, OH
North High School was built from 1931-1955. In addition to these Art Deco details, there are later Moderne features as well. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
