| The Warehouse Market was built in 1929 and features a huge tower and terra cotta tiles. It was also known as the "Farmer's Market" since shoppers were able to buy goods here directly from local farmers. It closed during the Depression and reopened as the "Club Lido". From 1938 until the late 1970s, it was used as a grocery store. The building was vacant, deteriorating, and nearly demolished for Home Depot parking. However, the Tulsa Preservation Commission saved the building façade in the mid-1990s. For more see, these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. |

| The Mayo Motor Inn is a parking garage built in 1950. Too late to be classified Streamline Moderne (although its exterior fits the style) and too early to include in my Mid-century section (although the interior columns are typical of that style), I'll put this here for now. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |
