Amarillo, TX
The Amarillo Kress was designed by Edward F. Sibbert and built in 1931. The store closed in 1974. This neon "Kress" sign was built in 2009 to simulate the original. The canopy's glass squares, now painted, were originally backlit. The building now houses Center City Furniture and Center City Finance. For more, see this website.

Lubbock, TX
The Lubbock Kress, designed by Sibbert, was built in 1932 in a Mission/Spanish Revival style. The building is listed on the National Register of Historick Places. In recent years it housed a Goodwill store. In 2012, the building was vacant.

San Antonio, TX
The San Antonio Kress was designed by Edward F. Sibbert and built in 1939. The store closed sometime around the mid-1980s. The building remained vacant until it was restored from 2006-2010. The ground floor is now occupied by the Texas de Brazil restaurant.

The Fort Worth Kress was designed by Edward F. Sibbert and built in 1936. The store closed in 1960 when a new store opened in the Fort Worth Shopping Center. The building's ground floor is now occupied by Fox & Hound English Pub. For more, see this website.

The Del Rio Kress was designed by E.J.T. Hoffman and built in 1928. The store closed around 1996. I have not seen any other Kress buildings with this tile floor entrance.

This Corpus Christi Kress was built in 1917. The building has housed the K Space, an art space, since 1995.

This Corpus Christi Kress was designed by Seymour Burrell and built in 1916. The building has been stripped of its nameplate and the storefront has been significantly altered.
