The Munson Diner is a Kullman from 1945. At one time, there were five or six Munson Diners in New York City, owned by the same family. In 2004, the property on which the diner stands was sold and the diner was threatened with demolition. Luckily, in 2005, it found a buyer and was moved to Liberty for about $250,000. The Quintessence Diner is a Fodero from 1948. It has been closed since 2004. New owners painted the diner's trim black (bottom photos) in 2008 and there were plans to reopen. However, as of mid-2009, it remains closed. For more, see this website.

This Fodero diner from 1954 was originally known as the "Malta Ridge Diner". It was completely restored in the 1995 when the Chez Sophie Bistro moved in. In 2005, the owners moved to a new location and the diner was put up for sale. In 2006, it was announced that "Bloomers", an upscale fusion restaurant, is moving in. Trattoria Vivolo is a 1950s DeRaffele that was adapted in 2001 for use as an Italian restaurant. There is an addition in back which expands the restaurant. It was previously known as the Silver Spoon Cafe. The interior photo was shot through the blinds when the restaurant was closed.
