Dinosaur
Fruita, CO
The Fruita Dinosaur was named Grrrreta by local school children in 2000. This dinosaur is about 20' tall stands in the traffic circle in the middle of town. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Dinosaur [gone]
Fruita, CO
This Fruita Dinosaur sculpture mural was installed on a parking lot wall downtown. This photo is from 2008. By 2011, the dinosaur was gone.

Dinosaur Journey
Fruita, CO
The Dinosaur Journey Museum features these two colorful dinosaurs near the entrance. Of course, there are many dinosaurs inside as well. Several of the exhibits came from the Dinosaur Valley Museum, aka Dinosaur Discovery, which closed in 2000. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Stegosaurus
Caņon City, CO
This Stegosaurus was built in 1995 by inmates and employees of the Fremont Correctional Facility. It took nine months to build it. The statue is 15 feet tall and 26 feet long. The sheet metal dinosaur has an interior steel frame. It was modeled after the Stegosaurus found in nearby Garden Park, CO in 1992. The statue is located next to the Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau. For more, see this website.

Allosaurus
Caņon City, CO
This Allosaurus statue is installed in front of the Dinosaur Depot Museum. I believe it was installed here in 1995 when the museum opened. The photo above is from 2012. In 2013, it was announced that the museum would be closing. I don't know what the plans are for this statue. For more, see this website.

three dinosaurs
Dinosaur, CO
These three dinosaurs were created by George Millecam who is also responsible for many of the dinosaurs in Vernal, UT. I have read that there is a fourth Millecam dinosaur in town but I could only find these three. Sorry about the photo quality - these photos were taken in a snowstorm. For more, see this website.
