Restaurant Madrid
Saint-Léonard-d’Aston, QC; Canada

Restaurant Madrid was founded in 1956 as the Moulin Rouge restaurant. In 1959, the owner added a dance hall. In 1967, the restaurant was destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt and reopened as Restaurant Madrid in 1968. The place is a popular stop on the Trans Canada Highway as a combination gas station, restaurant and hotel. In addition to this dinosaur collection and the chateau-like architecture, there are several monster trucks. The dinosaurs were created around 1993 and after being displayed around Quebec, they were moved here. For more, see their website.
