The Sandusky Drive-in was built in 1949 and closed in 2001. The owner is looking to sell the place for over $1 million. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The Miles Road Drive-in opened in 1953 and closed after the 2000 season. It was sold to the city and demolished in 2006. The Miles was a huge single-screen venue with capacity for 1,000 cars. It also had a nice playground. The huge Art Deco screen tower, considered the nicest in Ohio, was covered with neon lighting. The housing development which will replace it will have streets named after movie stars. For more, see this website.
