Wimpy's Drive-in opened in 1933 at 3rd and Fremont
St. Soon thereafter, a larger Wimpy's was built between 2nd and 3rd on
Fremont St. Both of these buildings are gone now.
In 1942, Wimpy's owner opened Sill's Drive-In. It was built on Las Vegas Blvd. halfway between downtown and the Strip. Later in Las Vegas, Tell 'N Tote opened. Sill's Drive-in eventually burned down. |
