America's Original Kiddie Park opened in 1925 and is believed to be the oldest private amusement park in the U.S. There is also a full-sized carousel and Herschell kiddie carousel. I suspect the other rides were probably manufactured by Herschell as well. For more, see this website.

Quassy Amusement Park

Quassy Amusement Park opened here on the shore of Lake Quassapaug in 1908 as a summer resort. Rides were installed in the late 1930s with the majority of them added after WWII. Today, the park features a train from 1948, Herschell 1950s-era kiddie rides and carousel, a full-sized resin carousel and other big-kid rides. For more, see their website.
