Deer Forest opened in 1949. The park features a petting zoo, pony rides, kiddie rides, mini golf, and story book figures. The figures and murals have been recently repainted. The Genie shown at top left was supposedly created by Whirlpool and donated to the park in the 1960s. His voicebox is still operational. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
