former station Collinsville, IL |

The former station was built between 1927 and 1930. The adjoining building with service bays was built in the 1930s and has sliding doors that move from side to side. This station became home to Eck Auto Service in 1958. The window canopies, pointed windows on the garage doors, etc. are all original. While many people, including the owner, have identified this as a Phillips 66, this was not one of that company's designs. It was probably built by a local oil company and may have been a Phillips 66 later on.

This former station in Geneva was built in the 1920s or 1930s. It has been home to Architectural Resources since the late 1980s. It bears some resemblance to Phillips 66 stations but the gable is too wide and I don't think that's what it was. Does anyone know more about this building?
