Trump's Texaco Museum
Knightstown, IN
Trump's Texaco Museum was originally a Tydol gas station from the 1930s. It opened as a museum with Texaco memorabilia in 1996. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

former station
Logansport, IN

former station
Terre Haute, IN
This former Logansport station was originally a Texaco. It was later a Sinclair. It is now known as Mike's Auto Service and sells Marathon gas. The tile roof was replaced with a metal one in 2009 before these photos were taken. Disney World took measurements of this station in order to build a replica but I have not come across any photos of it. For more, see this website.

This former Terre Haute station was built in 1931. It was originally downtown and was saved by a preservation-minded professor at Rose-Hulman University. It was moved, restored, and is now used at the university's athletic fields as a concession stand and bathrooms.

former station
Anderson, IN
This former station has been vacant for many years.

former station
Fort Wayne, IN
former station
Evansville, IN
This former Fort Wayne station is located on the back of the lot of the former Happy Humpty Drive-in (later Humpty Dumpty Drive-in). I don't know if this building was used by the drive-in or if there was another building here that was demolished.

This former Evansville station is quite similar to the one on the left. This was a common design in the 1920s and 1930s, used nationwide. I'm told that this one was originally an Indian Oil station and, later, a Texaco station.

former station
Evansville, IN
This former station has been vacant for many years. Hexagonal and octagonal shaped stations like this one are very rare now.

former gas station
Auburn, IN
This former station was built around 1922. It served as a combination dealership and gas station. The owner believes it was originally a Sinclair and that they sold Oakland automobiles. Fords were sold here until around 1986. The building is now occupied by Classic City Body & Paint.

former gas station
Vincennes, IN
This former station is classy and unusual looking with its round tower structure and fancy tilework. The building is now vacant.

former Phillips 66 station
Richmond, IN
This former Phillips 66 station now houses Hoosier Battery.

former station?
Indianapolis, IN
former station
South Bend, IN
This Indianapolis building looks like it might be a former station to me. Does anyone know the history of this place?

This former station in South Bend is now a vacant auto repair business.

former Conoco station
Princeton, IN
This former Conoco station is now occupied by an Enterprise Rent-A-Car office. The station would have originally had a second canopy on the left side. The original green tile on the exterior has either been covered up or removed. However, the green and black tile inside the curved bay is still there. For more examples of these stations, see the bottom of this page.
