The Lynnfield Station claims to be America's oldest filling station. It has old globes and relatively old pumps. Many restored old stations today survive as gas-related museums. For more about petroliana, see this website.
Charlie's Garage was originally a Ford-Lincoln showroom. Somewhere along the line it added this façade and pumps, became a repair shop, and acquired this old Mobil sign. |

| This Citgo Station originally sold fuel and range oil. The owners added a gas pump in the 1920s. In the 1950s/1960s, it was Frank Gogan's Mobil. It is not known when it became a Citgo. Sometime between 2002 and 2004, it became a Shell station. |

This former station in Lynn is or was last used by Walsh's Garage. I'm not sure if this repair shop is still open.
Although the station attendant said the Tony's building was originally a blacksmith's shop, it looks like it was originally a gas station to me. |

| This Brookline station was built in the 1930s. The pumps were still there when the first photo above was taken in 2004. In 2007, the station was restored and converted into a B. Good restaurant. For more, see this website. |

| The A.C. Smith station was built in 1926. It has been Abdon's Auto Repair since 1977. They no longer sell gas but there is an old Mobil pump next to the office. This brick station has very nice details including pineapples at the corners of the building and at the roof's peak, as well as bas-relief carvings of a car and a flying wheel. |
