Mel's Service is a former "Denver-style" Texaco station. This station would have looked like this one in Wichita, KS when it was built. The stained glass Texaco window is original.

This is another former "Denver-style" Texaco station. This building appeared to be long vacant when these photos were taken in 2010. Those strange supports on the roof must have held and lit signs.

This former Texaco station was built in 1930. It was vacant when these photos were taken in 2010. In 2008, the building housed an ATV and golf cart dealership.

This former Texaco station was built in the early 1930s. It functioned as a gas station until 1974. The building was restored in the late 1990s. It now houses the Filling Station Bar-B-Q Restaurant.

Bates Street Tire was built in 1930 as a Cities Service station. The bay building in the back was built in 1988 to match the style of the original building.

This former station now houses Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity. The long-vacant building was nearly demolished in 1993. However, it was spared due its connection with Harry Truman who used to gas up his car here. In 1996, this station was used during the filming of Robert Altman's "Kansas City".
