Amish Man [gone] Milford, DE

This Amish Man, aka The Big Man, stood in front of Shirey's Auto Sales. He appeared to have been the work of Rod Shutt . This 20' tall statue was previously in PA and Dover, DE (where he was at the Dutch Pantry). He was moved here in 2000. In 2003, he was knocked over by a hurricane but was later repaired/repainted. In 2007, he was taken down and put into storage in Dover. For more, see this website.

Virgin Mary New Castle, DE

This Virgin Mary statue was crated by Charles Parks in 2007. It is 34' tall and made of stainless steel. The statue stands on the grounds of the Holy Spirit Parish and is also called "Our Lady Queen of Peace". For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
