Gremlin appears to be a Miniature Pinscher with natural ears and tail. She looks like a smaller version of my other dog, Gripper, but with a much nicer temperament. Gremlin is about a year old, weighs about nine pounds, and is about 12" tall. She was found on the roof of a van in a supermarket parking lot and taken to a shelter. She was fat and missing patches of hair when she was found. After three weeks of fostering, her hair grew back and she lost some weight. Her foster mom called her Olive but that was too girlie for me. I'm not fond of human, gender-specific names for dogs. Based on her mischievious personality and size, the name Gremlin seemed more appropriate.

I have only had her since December 2007 so there will more about her and more photos soon. I'm not sure if I'll be competing in any sports with her although she seems energetic enough. I have taught her a few tricks already (begging, rolling, spinning, barking, leg weaving, etc.). My other dogs have accepted the new addition amazingly well. She loves rough-housing with Sputnik and running with big dogs in the park. I have never seen a dog with such confidence. She snores when she sleeps and will eat anything (including mud, wood, and lead paint).
