The Zion Hill Baptist Church was built around 1940.
The Christian Harmony Full Gospel Church has this lighthouse feature around the back of its building. I don't know if this church was the original occupant of the building. It appears to be from the 1940s.
The New Orleans building is presently occupied by Lighthouse Glass, an art gallery. The Lighthouse for the Blind renovated this building in 1924 using the Milneburg Lighthouse as a model for the front. In 1948, the Lighthouse for the Blind moved out of the building. For more, see this website.

Investors Savings Bank built this lighthouse bank and a windmill bank in Virginia Beach, VA (now gone I believe). This building is still used as a bank.
Rusty's Pizza Parlor was originally the Lighthouse Restaurant. There are lighthouse artifacts inside. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
This faux lighthouse is located among the cottage-style buildings surrounding the Crossroads of the World Streamline Moderne building. It was most likely also built in 1936. For more, see this page.

Christmas Tree Shops Lynnfield, MA |
former gas station? Deerfield, MA |
 |
 |
 |
The Christmas Tree Shops started as a Cape Cod chain. They now have about 35 locations in the Northeast. Many of their stores were built to resemble barns and New England villages. This location has a lighthouse and fishing village theme. It was built to complement the ship-shaped restaurant nearby. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
This Deerfield lighthouse looks like it could have been a gas station at one time. It seems about the right size and stands in front of former lodging-like buildings on Route 5. It's also possible that it might have been the office for the units behind it. Does anyone know the history of this building?

The Annapolis Harbour Center, a shopping center, features this full-sized, faux lighthouse. For more, see this website.
Fisherman's Wharf has another landlocked shopping center lighthouse. There are plans for the property's redevelopment and the fate of this structure is yet unknown. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
Captain Nichols used this lighthouse as the office for their charter fishing boat business. The building was vacant in 2006. For more, see their website.
The Mexicali Rose restaurant features a lighthouse in its design. It was originally "The Reef" and later "The Lightouse". The current manager believes the building is from the 1950s.
This Lighthouse Water Station vending machine is similar to the ubiquitous Watermill Express vending machines. I have not seen another one like it.

I suspect this lighthouse at Lighthouse Condominiums was used by another business previously. There is an arrow with bulbs inside the top part. I don't know if that is or was ever lit.
BlueJacket Shipcrafters has been making model ships and boats since 1905. This lighthouse building is used for the company's offices and production. It also contains a gallery of different models as well. The lighthouse building has been here since at least the mid-1980s. It was previously a gift shop and ice cream stand. For more, see their website.
The St. Petersburg lighthouse is located in the Lighthouse Point shopping center.
The Gainesville lighthouse stands at the Harbor Cove Apartments development.
The Pub Waterfront Restaurant features this lighthouse on their roof. The restaurant opened sometime in the mid-1960s.
The Winter Park Public Storage was previously a Shurgard Self-Storage location. In 2006, Shurgard's U.S. locations were purchased by Public Storage. Shurgard built lighthouse-accented buildings in Europe and the US. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

The Jacksonville Lighthouse decorates the corner of the First Baptist Church parking garage. It is a replica of the St. Augustine Lighthouse in nearby St. Augustine, FL. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
The Lighthouse Landing restaurant lighthouse is a 35' tall replica of the nearby Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station. It appears to be a recent construction. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
The Whale Harbor Restaurant lighthouse serves as the entrance. The White Harbor Marina has been here since 1947 but I don't know when this restaurant was built. It seems to be pretty old.
These three Fernandina Beach Lighthouses are residences right on the beach. The lighthouse fascination is a tribute to the nearby, actual Amelia Island Lighthouse. Murray's Light, a 37' tall replica of it, was built in the 1970s. Green's Light is square-ish but still recognizable as a simulated lighthouse. The other Fernandina Beach lighthouse is located in the backyard of a normal looking house. Its similarity to Green's Light down the road leads me to believe it was designed by the same architect. For more, see this website.

Three Sisters Lighthouses Eastham, MA |
 |
The Three Sisters Lighthouses were actually functional lighthouses but I'll include them anyway for their novelty. These three lighthouses were built for the Nauset Beach Light Station in 1838. In 1918, two of the lighthouses were sold and used as part of a summer cottage. In the 1920s, the remaining lighthouse became part of another summer cottage. The National Park Service purchased the lighthouses in 1965 and 1975. In 1983, they were moved to a site near their original location. They were positioned in their original configuration, about 150 feet apart. The restoration was completed in 1989. For more, see 1, 2, and 3.
