The Zion Hill Baptist Church was built around 1940.

The New Orleans building is presently occupied by Lighthouse Glass, an art gallery. The Lighthouse for the Blind renovated this building in 1924 using the Milneburg Lighthouse as a model for the front. In 1948, the Lighthouse for the Blind moved out of the building. For more, see this website.

The Lighthouse Baptist Church features a 45 tall lighthouse. It was built sometime in or after the 1980s.

The Christian Harmony Ministries building has a lighthouse feature on the side. I don't know if this church was the original occupant. The building appears to be from the 1940s.

Investors Savings Bank built this lighthouse bank and a windmill bank in Virginia Beach, VA (now gone I believe). This building is still used as a bank.

Rusty's Pizza Parlor was originally the Lighthouse Restaurant. There are lighthouse artifacts inside. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.

This faux lighthouse is located among the cottage-style buildings surrounding the Crossroads of the World Streamline Moderne building. It was most likely also built in 1936. For more, see this page.

The Sunshine Tabernacle seems to be gone but this lighthouse remains.

The Fortbend Chiropractic and Wellness building features this lighthouse entrance. Does anyone know what was located here originally?

The Lighthouse Dental building appears to be modern.

This Lighthouse in Wildwood is located on the roof of Schellenger's Restaurant. The restaurant opened in 1978 and this lighthouse might be from then.

The Strollo's Lighthouse Italian ice chain was established in 1976. There are now four locations. Only these two have lighthouses. This Point Pleasant stand was built in 1999. The Long Branch location was built in 2010. The Red Bank location is housed in a former gas station. For more, see this website.

Vivar's Villa del Mar restaurant opened in 2011. I believe this building was constructed then.

I believe Jordan's Lobster Dock and this lighthouse were built in the mid-1980s.

I believe the Lighthouse Law Center was built in 2001.

The Tawas Motel lighthouses are references to the nearby Tawas Point Lighthouse in East Tawas.

The Lighthouse Lounge corner facade appears to be from the 1940s. The Liquor sign is probably from then or the 1950s. I don't know how long the lighthouse has been on the roof or the bar has gone by this name. For more, see this website.

Burnett's Lighthouse Frozen Custard opened around 2003 and closed sometime between 2005 and 2010 (first and second photos above). The building's rooftop lighthouse is still there although the occupant is now Mid-American Title Loans.

The Linoma Beach lighthouse was built in 1939. There was originally a gas station at its base and a restaurant nearby. It is 100 feet tall and made of concrete with metal panels. It stands next to the Platte River at the Linoma Beach Resort. The name "Linoma" came from the resort's location between Lincoln and Omaha. The beacon at the top is no longer lit.

The Storm Lake Lighthouse was built in 1992. It is about 36 feet tall and has a flashing white light.

The Dexter Lighthouse is located at the Lighthouse Christian Center. The beacon is functional and lit at night.

The Quincy Lighthouse stands in front of the Sprague Energy plant.

The American Lobster Mart features a lighthouse shaped restaurant and store.

The Wareham lighthouse is part of a pair that mark the entrance to town.

The Christmas Tree Shops started as a Cape Cod chain. They now have about 35 locations in the Northeast. Many of their stores were built to resemble barns and New England villages. This location has a lighthouse and fishing village theme. It was built to complement the ship-shaped restaurant nearby. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

This Deerfield lighthouse looks like it might have been used as part of a gas station at one time. It seems about the right size and stands in front of former lodging-like buildings on Route 5. It's also possible that it might have been the office for the units behind it. Does anyone know the history of this building?

The Fuquay-Varina lighthouse is installed at Lighthouse Leisure, a pool and spa company.

The Wilson lighthouse is located in the parking lot of Worrell's Seafood Restaurant.

The Paragould lighthouse stands in front of the Apostolic Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.

The Annapolis Harbour Center, a shopping center, features this full-sized, faux lighthouse. For more, see this website.

Bearclaw Coffee shares this lighthouse building with Beachfront Bicycle Rental. Before 2006, it housed Captain Nichols Fleet office. Does anyone know what was here originally?

The Mexicali Rose restaurant features a lighthouse in its design. It was originally "The Reef" and later "The Lightouse". The current manager believes the building is from the 1950s.

The Galley Restaurant was vacant when this photo was taken in 2010.

I don't know what business this Lighthouse in Menahga is associated with. It is located just a block from Spirit Lake.
