Pee Wee Golf was created by Bill Koplin in 1948. His brother, Lee Koplin, managed the business from 1953-1955 and then went on to create Goofy Golf courses. From 1957-1959, he built courses in Florida and Mississippi. During this time, Bill and his son Bill Jr. continued to build Magic Carpet Golf courses in California.
Pee Wee Golf features 36 holes. Due to frequent flooding from the nearby Russian River, the figures are repainted each year. Some of the figures have been replaced over the years. For more, see this website.
