Hillbilly Golf

Hillbilly Golf opened in 1971 and is built on a cliffside. To access the course, you take a little incline railroad up to the top. The two courses have a hillbilly theme which includes farm equipment, outhouses, and whiskey stills. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Adventure Golf has some old figures by James Sidwell who is well-known for his dinosaur statues. Sidwell also did figures for a Jolly Golf (later Dinosaur Golf) in nearby Gatlinburg, TN but this is now gone. These well-worn, 1960s-era figures are interspersed with what seem to be some more modern creations. There are some identical Sidwell figures at Rainbow Falls Golf in Myrtle Beach, SC.
