This hotel which is now a La Quinta Inn & Suites was built in 1970. It was previously a Fairfield Inn but I don't know what the original name was. The hotel is almost next door to the Pirelli Building. If this hotel wasn't designed by Marcel Breuer then it is at least a very good copy of his style.
The Conty's Drive-in building appears to be from the 1960s. It had been vacant for many years. In 2009, it reopened as the Salt & Pepper Restaurant. For more, see this website. |

The Knights of Columbus Museum opened here in 2001. I believe this building housed the New Haven Health Department before that. Does anyone know when this building was constructed and what was here originally?
The Knights of Columbus International Headquarters was designed by Roche, Dinkeloo & Associates and built from 1965-1969. For more, see this website. |
