| The Sacred Heart Church was built in 1971. The building was condemned when pieces of concrete fell from the ceiling. Evidently, the ceiling is leaking, too, as the carpeting was saturated when I was there and a row of pews has been removed. Worshippers continue to gather at the parish hall next door. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |
