| The Eros World Tapas Bar, a restaurant and dance club, occupies a former Trust Company Bank which was built in 1965. The building was designed by Henri Jova. It sat vacant for many years before opening as Piebar, a hip pizza restaurant, in 2005. Eros has been here since at least 2008. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4. | The Tucker Federal Bank (now RBC Centura Bank) looks to be mid-century. Does anyone know more about it (e.g., when it was built and what bank originally occupied the building)? [top photos, ca. 1987, thanks Eavenson Art] |
