| This Sea Bay Hotel building was previously known as the Bay Sails Inn. Its slanted façade gives the building a hip-modern look while functioning as sunshade. Ocean City is a popular warm weather town and this hotel faces the sun and beach. The hotel's trapezoidal shape somewhat resembles I.M. Pei's City Hall in Dallas, TX built in 1978. However, my guess is that the Bay Sails was built earlier. |
