This Boulder City Dome is now used as office space for "B.C. Real Estate". It had been used as an insurance office. Does anyone know its original use? There is another dome just down the street that houses "Hacienda Interior". For more, see this website.

Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts
Reno, NV
The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts was originally known as the Pioneer Theater - Auditorium. It was designed by Bozalis, Dickinson and Roloff, and completed in 1967. It was originally intended to be used as a convention center. The gold-anodized geodesic dome is 140 feet in diameter and is composed of 500 panels. Silver Legacy Resort
Reno, NV
The National Bowling Stadium opened in 1995. It features 78 championship lanes and a 440' long video scoreboard. A theatre is housed in the silver geodesic (bowling ball-shaped) dome. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.

The Silver Legacy Resort also opened in 1995. It features a 180' dome which contains a 150' mining machine simulation. It is the world's largest composite dome. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
