The King Building was also designed by Minoru Yamasaki and built in 1966. This building and the Conservatory shown above have been described as Neo-Gothic and resemble Yamasaki's best known work, the World Trade Center that was in New York City. For more, see this website.

The Akron Institute of Herzing University building was constructed in 1963. The building was vacant when these photos were taken in 2011. The Akron Institute was established in 1970 so this building must have housed something else originally.
