The Taqueria Jaliscienses Mexican Food building was built as the restaurant for the Cross Country Inn. The motel next door now is an Econolodge. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

TC Shaved Ice

The TC Shaved Ice building appears to be from the 1960s. Does anyone know what was here originally?

This building was part of the now closed Family Fun Park. It was originally the Burger Train Drive-in and was there in the 1970s and probably earlier. Trains operated on tracks and delivered food to your car window. The building is now occupied by Fast Cutters, a hair salon.

San Antonio, TX
I believe these Jif-E Mart stores were built in the early 1970s. The last example above shows the only double canopy building that I know of.

Pic N Save
Amarillo, TX
The Pic N Save building has a similar roof to the San Antonio buildings described above. This roof has less scoop to it which makes me think it was not related to them.
