| Hearthside Village features 16 adorable and tiny gabled cottages and beautiful landscaping. The cottages were built between 1938 and 1946 by Arthur and Rose Plante. They were originally known as Plante's Cabins and later as Plante's Motor Court. When the place was sold in 1982, it was renamed Hearthside Village by the new owner. Although they resemble the Pure Oil cabins somewhat, there was no connection. For more, see their website. |

A Better Life is located in the White Mountains' Washington Valley. The cabins were built around 1933. For more, see their website. The Mountain Home Cabins, another nice set of old cabins, is just down the road in Bartlett.
These unidentified cabins are located on Route 3 in (or just north of) Thornton. This complex has six, nicely-maintained cabins with chimneys. There are many old cabins, in varying condition, "left behind" on this road that runs parallel to Interstate 93. |

| The Gilcrest Cottages and Motel opened in the 1930s as Brown's Cabins. The Motel, a larger building, was added in the 1960s. The Gilcrest is open year-round and is located on the Pemigewasset River and near Loon Mountain skiing. For more, see their website. |

| The Little Holland Court is located on Little Squam Lake. They opened in the late 1930s. In addition to their sweet cabins (with little windmills above each doorway), their waterfront property affords boating, sunbathing, fishing, and "lawn games." |

| The Channel Cottages are located right on Lake Winnipesaukee. For more, see their website. Weirs Beach is a very popular tourist destination with amusement parks, boating, beaches, etc. |
