11-70 Motor Court
Knoxville, TN
The 11-70 Motor Court sign is shaped like a highway sign with a reference to its location on the merged State Highways of 11 and 70. The rooms, laid out in a square around the main office, are kept as a private residence now. Each unit has its own private garage next door.

Loveless Café & Motel
Nashville, TN
The Loveless Café & Motel started in 1951 when Lon and Annie Loveless set up picnic tables on their front lawn and sold fried chicken and biscuits. They converted their house into the restaurant, known originally as the Harpeth Valley Tea Room. The restaurant today continues to feature Southern foods. The motel part of the business closed in 1985. In 2004, the 14 motel rooms were converted into shops. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
