The Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Porsche, and Bentley showrooms shown above are part of Pasadena's still-thriving Auto Row on West Colorado Blvd.
This Rolls-Royce showroom sold a variety of brands over the years. In the late 1920s, Pierce-Arrows were sold here. A later dealership sold Willys Jeeps. In the 1950s-1970s, the makes included Jaguars, Alfa-Romeos and Fiats. This Jaguar showroom was occupied in 1934 by the Earl Lindley Motor Co. which sold Nash automobiles. Different dealerships sold Chrysler-Plymouth cars here from 1934-1970. In 1971, Rusnak took over the building and has sold a variety of foreign car makes including Porsche, Audi and Nissan. From around 1948-1953, this Porsche showroom was occupied by the Hills Motor Co. which sold Nash automobiles. From 1954 until at least 1980, the Peter Satori dealership sold a variety of foreign cars here. Rusnak appears to have moved in around 1993 when it sold Volvos. This Bentley showroom housed A.R. Ahrens Ford in 1930s. The building's parapet and other details have been lost. For more, see this website. |

| The Bay Bridge Kia showroom was designed by Walter Reed and built in the 1920s. There were dealerships here previously dating back to 1916. Over the years, a variety of automobiles have been sold here including Chevrolet, Citroen, and Triumph. This building was abandoned for years before it was restored in 2004 and become a Kia dealership. The dealership closed in 2008 shortly after these photos were taken. I believe the building is still vacant. |
