| The former Beverly Hills Ford showroom appears to have been built in the 1940s. In the mid-1950s, the building housed the Beverly Buick Co. That may have been the original occupant. The building housed Precision Volkswagen in the late 1980s. Sometime between 2008 and 2012 when these photos were taken, the Beverly Hills Ford sign letters were removed. The building remains vacant. For more, see this postcard. [postcard scan thanks Alden Jewell] |

| Felix Chevrolet was founded in 1922 by Winslow Felix. This building was constructed in 1920 for a Ford dealership. It was remodeled in 1946 in the Streamline Moderne style. Felix Chevrolet relocated to this building in 1958. This three-sided, rooftop sign was built then as well. The pole sign for the used car lot was probably built at the same time. Winslow Felix, the owner of the dealership, was a good friend of the cartoonist who developed the Felix the Cat character. The image has been used with permission since the 1920s. The Felix statues were built in 1927. In 2012, the neon on the rooftop sign was replaced with LED tubing. While this was done as a cost-savings measure, many preservationists are upset with this change. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. |

The Crenshaw Collision Center was most likely a showroom. Does anyone know what was here originally?
The Crenshaw Motors showroom was built in 1937. The dealership closed in 2007. Shortly thereafter, the neon lettering was removed from the building. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. |

This former Packard showroom was built in 1942. It was a Cadillac dealer in the 1960s and 1970s. The building now houses the Quality Assured Collision Center. For more, see this website.
I believe this unidentified building was always a body shop or garage. It is located on Anaheim St. which featured many auto-related businesses during the Art Deco period. |

| Vintage Buick moved into this building in 1983. The Granger Motor Co. opened here in 1945. This building was probably remodeled in the 1950s or early 1960s. Vintage Buick's two neon signs are lit at night. This dealership sells new and used cars: Buick, GMC, Pontiac, and Cadillac. |

| Don Massey Cadillac was founded in 1961 in Wayne, MI. I believe Massey purchased this Cadillac dealership in 1984. This dealership was originally built as Bob Spreen Cadillac. At that time, the fountain's car platform continually rotated. In 2008, only the emblem above it rotated. The dealership closed in 2009. It was still vacant in 2012. I don't know if this structure's fate is in jeopardy. |
