former showroom Perth, ON

This former showroom, aka the Perkins Building, was built from 1946-1947. Joe Perkins used this building as a combination General Motors and International Harvestor dealership. In addition, there was an eight-lane bowling alley in the back of the building. The building was restored in 1982 and the gas pumps were removed in 1990. In 1994, it was subdivided into a variety of businesses known as "Perks 'N' Things". For more, see this website.

This former Packard showroom is probably from the 1910s. I'd love to know more about it. Sorry about the picture quality - these photos were taken in the pouring rain.
