Although not car dealerships, I can't resist including a small section on Firestone Tire buildings which used similar architectural elements such as large pane windows, sloping roofs, and dramatic signage.

former Firestone Fort Worth, TX |
The former Fort Worth Firestone was built in 1930 as part of Fort Worth's "Automobile Row". In 1999, the building was converted into office space for the luxury apartments next door. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
former Firestone Amarillo, TX |
The former Amarillo Firestone was designed by Joseph Champ Berry and built in 1930. The building now appears to be vacant.
Firestone Ann Arbor, MI |
This Ann Arbor Firestone looks to be from the 1930s.
Firestone El Paso, TX |
This El Paso Firestone was built in 1928. It features a huge canopy and nice details.
Firestone Durham, NC |
This Durham Firestone was built in the early 1930s. It is now occupied by Devine's Restaurant & Sports Bar.
Firestone Albuquerque, NM |
My best guess is that this Albuquerque Firestone is from the 1940s or 1950s.
Firestone Fall River, MA |
This Fall River Firestone has a huge canopy and bays, an old add-on garage, and nicely-preserved Firestone shields.
Firestone Trenton, NJ |
This Trenton Firestone looks like it dates from around the same time as the Fall River building shown above (1930s?). Tilden Car Care Center now occupies the space but still sells Firestone tires. The building features a tile-enhanced roof, Art Deco-looking columns, and Firestone shields.
Firestone Cleveland, OH |
This Cleveland Firestone looks quite similar to the Trenton building shown above. It was probably built in the 1930s as wel.
This well-preserved New Albany Firestone is an extremely rare and unusual example of their streamline moderne style. I have never seen one in these colors before. It somewhat resembles the Firestone Building in Mount Clemens, MI.
Firestone Crown Point, IN |
This Crown Point Firestone is another rare Firestone streamline moderne design.
Firestone Red Bank, NJ |
This Red Bank Firestone building is from the 1940s.
This Albany Firestone building is from around 1940.
Firestone Brooklyn, NY |
This Brooklyn Firestone building is huge and features an apparently original enormous canopy roof and signage.
Century Tire Co. Portland, ME |
Century Tire Co. has been around since around 1926 and now has four locations. Although Century sells Firestone, they also sell many other brands of tires. From the lettering on the roof, I suspect this was originally a Firestone building. For more, see their website.

Firestone Orlando, FL |
Firestone Complete Auto Care Tupelo, MS |
This Orlando Firestone maintains its mid-century design. The Walgreens sign behind it is probably from the same time period.
Firestone Complete Auto Care first opened in 1926. Obviously, this building is from much later. The left side of it is nearly completely glass on both front and back.

Firestone Ocala, FL |

Old Salem Domestic and Foreign Car Service Winston-Salem, NC |
The Old Salem Domestic and Foreign Car Service was originally a Firestone, built in 1960. It had been various car repair shops over the years. In 2006, after this photo was taken, it was announced that the building would be converted into retail space to be named the "Doo Wop Shops". The renovation will maintain the showroom's folded plate roof and bays. For more, see this website. [photo thanks Robby Delius]

Firestone Memphis, TN |
I've been told that this Memphis Firestone was originally a restaurant, possibly serving Mexican food. Does anyone know more about the building?
