FIRESTONE BUILDINGS (page 3) |
Firestone Cleveland, OH |
This Cleveland Firestone looks quite similar to the Trenton building shown above. It was probably built in the 1930s as wel.
This well-preserved New Albany Firestone is an extremely rare and unusual example of their streamline moderne style. I have never seen one in these colors before. It somewhat resembles the Firestone Building in Mount Clemens, MI.
Firestone Building Mount Clemens, MI |
This Firestone Building was built in 1939. It was used as a Firestone Tire store, aka Ned's Firestone, until 1982. It was then used as an auto repair/transmission shop until 1992. The building remained vacant until 1995 when it was restored as a Community Central Bank branch. The interior was split into two floors at this time. For more, see this website.

Firestone Crown Point, IN |
This Crown Point Firestone is another rare Firestone streamline moderne design.
This Denver Firestone appears to be from the 1960s or 1970s. I have never seen a red and while tiled façade on their buildings before.
Bellevue Tire Hammonton, NJ |
The Bellevue Tire Firestone dealer features an unusual roof design which looks to be from the 1950s or 1960s. The canopy might have been a later addition. The bow tie sign might be older. I don't believe the neon is lit anymore.
Firestone Red Bank, NJ |
This Red Bank Firestone building is supposedly from the 1940s. It looks more 1950s or 1960s to me. There was once a giant bow tie sign but it is now gone.
Firestone Springfield, NJ |
This Springfield Firestone building appears to be 1960s.
Firestone Spokane Valley, WA |
This Spokane Valley Firestone has nice mid-century details and signs.
This Albany Firestone building is from around 1940.
