Roman Building Philadelphia, PA |

The Roman Building features a bas-relief winged wheel, indicating it was originally a showroom, and the build date of 1916. This building is just north of the Packard showroom described above.

Day's Baum Boulevard Dodge Pittsburgh, PA |
This Pittsburgh showroom is now home to Radio Shack and Papa John's Pizza. Remaining exterior details include winged wheels, nice upper level details, and a bricked-up "Service" entrance. The building is located on Baum Blvd. which was once Pittsburgh's automobile row.
Day's Baum Boulevard Dodge showroom was originally the Chrysler Sales and Service Building. It was designed by Albert Kahn and built in 1934. The corner cylindrical tower, originally floodlit at night, was a recurring element in Kahn's Chrysler designs. Baum Boulevard was once Pittsburgh's automobile row.

former Buick showroom Lancaster, PA |
Lancaster Lincoln-Mercury (LLM) Lancaster, PA |
The former Buick showroom is now home to Classics 'n More, a classic car restoration and sales business. It looks to be maybe 1940s to me (the entrance appears to be streamline moderne) with alterations to its rounded corner showroom. Service garages in the adjacent brick building behind this one appear to be older.
Lancaster Lincoln-Mercury is just across the street from the Buick showroom and has been here since 1948. I'm not sure if that is the age of this building. For more, see their website.

Pope Motor Company Pottsville, PA |
The Pope Motor Company opened in 1925. It moved to this location in 1956. This small showroom manages to sell Pontiac, Buick and GMC cars, with the repairs garage in the basement. It features two great, functioning neon signs which were restored in 2002. The Pontiac sign came from another dealership which updated their signage in 1964 just as Pope began selling Pontiacs. The Buick sign was from Pope's original location. Pope Motors began selling Buicks in 1937 so it is probably from then. For more, see their website.
