The New Leaf Community Market is a natural foods store which has five other locations. This is probably an adapted sign from a previous business. Does anyone know more about it? I believe Johnnie's Super Market opened in the early 1950s. The sign is lit at night. For more, see this website. Dick & Dale's Upholstery closed around 2002. Fastsigns now occupies the building below and is considering restoring the sign. Mel's Bowl has been here since at least the 1960s. It has been known as the AMF Redwood Bowl for many years but the sign has been left intact. Only the "Bowl" part of the sign is lit at night. |
