The neon on the Phil's Bike Shop sign looks like it's intact. I'm curious if this was a unique sign or one mass-produced by Schwinn. I suspect the Hangar Inn sign might have had neon at one point and has been restored without. The bar also features a plane's tail projecting from the roof. This place is not far from LAX. I believe Primo Burgers is/was a chain in the Los Angeles area. This plastic globe might have revolved at one time. |

Cora's Coffee Shoppe has been here since the 1920s. The sign is still lit at night. I have never seen a three-sided sign shaped like this before. For more, see 1 and 2.
The Joker, a bar, features a fun plastic sign. For more, see this website. The Santa Monica Pier opened in 1909 and quickly grew into an amusement center.
