The Lucky Cuss Motel was known as the "Panorama Motel" in the 1950s.
The Walden Motel supposedly opened in 1974 although it looks older to me. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. Atomic Liquors opened in 1953. The name reflects to the atomic bomb detonations that took place just a few miles away. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. The Ambassador East Motel opened in 1952 and was demolished in 2007 for condos. The sign will go to the Neon Museum. For more, see these websites: 1 and 3. |

The Roulette Motel opened in 1955. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
The Peter Pan Motel closed a few years ago but the scaffolding on the sign might indicate new ownership. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. The Alicia Motel #3 was originally the St. Catherine Motel which opened in 1953. At some point in the 1950s, it became the Star View Motel. In 2006, it became the Alicia Motel #3. The Star View lettering was removed from the sign and the Alicia name simply painted on. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. Fergusons Motel appears to be from the 1950s. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. The Par-A-Dice Motel has been around since at least the 1950s. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |

| The Super Laundry building appears to be from the 1940s. The canopy appears recent and the signage is either recently restored or recreated. |

| The Society Cleaners opened in 1945. The sign over the entrance was removed in 2006 (before these photos) and is now at the Neon Museum's Boneyard. The building and remaining signage will most likely be demolished. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |

A. Fisher's Inn looks like an oldie but I can't find any information about it. Perhaps there was a name change and this sign was updated?
The Sky Ranch Motel probably opened in the 1950s. The sign was repainted in 2006. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. The Safari Motel opened in 1956. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. The Vegas Motel looks late 1950s or early 1960s. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |

The Strip 91 Motel has been around since at least the 1960s. It is named after its location on Highway 91 (in town, known as Las Vegas Boulevard). For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
The Cactus Motel and the Starlite Motel signs appear to be from the 1950s. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. This Charleston Auto Parts store is part of a chain with a few other locations in town. |

The Jerry's Nugget Hotel & Casino opened in 1964. Their tower sign alternates between pink and blue neon lettering. Some of their older signage can be found at the Neon Boneyard. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
The Silver Nugget Casino opened in 1964. It closed in the late 1980s but reopened in 1990. Their sign features a revolving giant nugget. For more, see this website. This sign stood in front of a former Wimpy's burger stand which was built in 1965 and closed in the mid-1990s. Wimpy's head used to revolve. The "Mariscos Las Islitas" restaurant is there now. There was another Wimpy's location on Fremont St. at one time. I presume this chain was related to the Wimpy's Drive-ins of the 1930s. For more, see this website. |
