The Windsor Hotel sign is lit at night. For more, see this website.

The Town View Motor Lodge sign features a nice mix of fonts.

The Savoy Motor Lodge was demolished at the end of 2007 after a fire. As of 2008, this sign remained on the vacant lot behind chain link fencing. I don't know if it's staying or endangered. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Harry's Business Machines opened in Reno in 1928 as Harry's Typewriter Shop. It moved to this location in 1949. For more, see their website.

Rancho Sierra Motel
Reno, NV

I believe the Rancho Sierra Motel sign is still lit at night. Each room's door has a different Western themed cut-out. For more, see this website.

unidentified motel
Reno, NV

The Mardi Gras Motor Lodge was originally known as the Mardi Gras Motel. The festive sign includes plastic balls, a sputnik, and a pierced bowtie shape. I'd like to know if parts of this sign ever revolved. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

I believe the City Center Motel sign is at least partially lit at night.

The Reno Royal Motor Lodge sign is lit at night. For more, see this website.

This unidentified motel is next door to the Reno Royal Motor Lodge. They share a parking lot but I don't believe they are the same motel.

In-Town Motel
Reno, NV
Flamingo Motel
Reno, NV
Shamrock Inn
Reno, NV

The In-Town Motel sign hasn't changed much since the 1950s. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The Flamingo Motel has been here since at least the 1960s. The sign is relatively unchanged and is lit at night. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The Shamrock Inn is a three-story, L-shaped motel. The rooms' doors are painted kelly green in keeping with the Irish theme. For more, see this website.

Horseshoe Motel

Time Zone Motel
Reno, NV

The Horseshoe Motel sign combines neon and bulbs. I don't know if it is still lit at night.

The Fireside Inn features this neon flame above their plastic box sign.

The Morris Hotel might be used as apartments now. For more, see this website.

I'd love to know the inspiration for Time Zone Motel's name.
