The animated Rapid City Laundry sign is probably from the 1950s. One source says it was built in 1938. This sign was lit at night until the store closed in 2010. The sign was removed and the owner is keeping it. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The Who's Hobby House opened in 1950. This sign is from 1958. The store sells model kits, arts and craft supplies, trains, etc.

The Black Hills Gold Outlet has been here since 1976. This sign might be older than that.

The Chute Roosters Restaurant & Museum sign appears to be made from paper and plywood. It might have been produced by the same artist that made the one for Black Hills Gold.

The Terrace Motel sign is probably from the 1950s. It was originally installed on a shorter brick base. The motel was replaced with the First Gold Hotel. This sign was saved and put on a pole underneath the hotel's sign. For more, see this website.
