This unidentified Hotel & Restaurant is gone. This sign appears to be from the 1930s. Does anyone know what the hotel's name was?

Dyer's Drive-in is now known as the Hilltop Diner but this sign remains.

The Fountain Hobby Center opened in 1947. This sign is probably from then. The store is still in business.

The General Glass Company was established in 1944. This sign and building appear to be from the 1950s.

The Clay's Smoke House sign is probably from the 1940s or 1950s.

The Mountaineer Dry Cleaners and Tammy's Dry Cleaning feature a Martinizing Dry Cleaning signs. These signs were mass-produced and there are several others still on display around the country. These signs are probably from the 1950s. The Mountaineer Dry Cleaners is still in operation. Tammy's Dry Cleaning is gone but this sign remains.

The Peerless Laundry is long gone but this sign remains.

Berdine's Five and Dime opened in 1908 and is still in operation. This backlit glass sign is from around that time. For more, see this website.

The Camden Park sign is from the late 1940s or early 1950s. There was a smaller neon sign of a roller skating woman where the message board is now. It was removed when the skating rink burned down in 1996. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Chandler's Plywood Products was established in 1935. This sign is probably from the 1950s. The red part of the sign read "Plywood Products" originally.

The George H. Wright Company men's clothing store appeared to still be in business when this photo was taken in 2012. This sign might be from the 1950s.

The Frederick Hotel was built from 1905-1906. There were two huge hanging blade signs which are gone now. They were probably installed in the 1920s. In 2006, the hotel rooms were converted into apartments. This sign is probably from that renovation. It is lit at night. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.

The Palace Center originally read "Palace Furniture". The furniture store opened in 1899 and closed in the early 1980s. The sign was adapted for this office building.

This Independent Order of Odd Fellows sign might be from the 1930s or 1940s.

S.M. Kisner & Sons was established in 1913. This sign is probably from the 1930s or 1940s.

This Elks Lodge was built around 1925. This sign is probably from the 1950s. There was apparently a clock behind the Elk's head. I don't know if it was a functioning clock or if it just permanently read 11 o'clock like other Elks Lodge signs.

This Masonic Lodge sign in Mount Hope is probably from the 1950s or earlier. It is partially lit at night.

Buch and Donovan Drugs opened in 1921. This sign is most likely from then. The drug store is gone but this sign remains. The business there now is Lynn Buch Interiors.

This Marsh Wheeling Stogies sign remains although the plant has been closed since 2001. The company was established in 1840 and moved to this building in 1908. I don't know when the neon sign was built. For more, see this website.
