Nik loves dock diving, a competitive dog sport. Dogs run down a long 40 foot long dock in pursuit of an object thrown by their owners. They land in a giant inflatable pool or pond. The goal is to have the dog land as far out in the water as possible. The distance is measured to the base of the dog's tail. Nik's longest jump so far is 20 feet 2 inches which is right up there with the big dogs. There are very few small dogs with enthusiasm for this sport so Nik is a real crowd-pleaser.

Nik is obsessed with retrieving. Any size or style of ball or toy is great. Even a piece of paper will do. [fourth & fifth photos thanks Roseann Burrets-Baars]
