The Perot Theatre was built in 1924 by the Saenger Amusement Company. The theatre closed in 1977. It reopened in 1980 after being restored. The theatre is owned by the City of Texarkana and is used for live performances. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more, see this website.

The Town Theatre opened in 1947. It closed around 1974. In 2002, it reopened as the J. Philip Gibbs, Jr., Centre for the Performing Arts. For more, see this website.

The Bay Theatre was designed by Leon C. Kyburz and built in 1942. It closed in 1964 and has been converted into a church. For more, see this website.

The Majestic Theatre opened in 1926 and closed in 2010. For more, see 1 and 2.

The Liberty Theatre opened in 1930. The theatre was closed when this photo was taken in 2011. However, there are plans to reopen later in the year as Liberty Hall. It will feature performances by the East Texas Symphony. For more, see this website.
