Oriental Theatre
Milwaukee, WI
The Oriental Theatre opened in 1927 and is still in operation. Although the theatre was split into three auditoriums in 1988, the interior is still nearly intact. The theatre still has its original Kimball Organ. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Downer Theatre

Fox-Bay Theatre

The Fox-Bay Theatre opened in 1951. In 2000, it became the Fox-Bay Cinema Grill which features food as well as movies. For more, see this website.

The Meyer Theatre opened as the Fox Theatre in 1930. It operated as the Bay Theatre from 1933-1993. After a complete renovation, the theatre reopened in 2002 as the Meyer Theatre. The Time Theatre opened in 1911 as the Superba Theatre. It was soon renamed the Rex Theatre. It closed in 1939 and reopened as the Time Theatre. The theatre closed in 1991. It is now used for live performances. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The Sheboygan Theatre operated from 1928-1994. Restoration work began in 1996. It is now known as the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

The West Bend Theatre opened in 1929. In recent years, the building housed the West Bend Cinema Brewhaus which featured live entertainment. The theatre has been vacant since around 2008. These photos are from 2011. The marquee is still lit at night. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
