The Aloha Arms Apartments features a nice A-frame entrance. It is part of a group of three tiki style apartment buildings which includes the Kapu Tiki Apartments and the former Samoa Apartments. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
The Tiki Apartments features a fun sign. The building itself is unremarkable. The Chef's Hat features a tiki/A-frame style porte cochere. I'm not sure if this was always a restaurant or if it was possibly a motel originally. Does anyone know anything about this building? |
