This Giant Fish statue in Manitowish Waters might be a smallmouth bass. It is installed next to Swanberg's Bavarian Inn. Does anyone know what type of fish it is meant to represent and/or the statue's history?
This Giant Fish statue in Hayward might be a largemouth bass. It is installed around the side of the building of Pastika's Bait & Tackle. It appears to have been used as a fountain at some point. |

This Giant Fish is located at the Rod & Gun Sport Shop. It appears to be a bass. It has been here since at least 2005. The store opened in 1949 so the fish might even date back to the 1960s or 1970s.
I believe this Giant Fish in Ashland represents a largemouth bass. In 2007, this statue was painted green and installed closer to the water of Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay. It was located next to the Bodin's on the Lake sporting goods store which is now closed. This photo is from 2011 when the statue was installed in front of Hudbucks Four Seasons Repair. | The Giant Fish is installed at a BP gas station. In the late 1980s, the station's convenience store housed the Fisherman's Stop and the giant fish was on the roof at that time. It was moved to the ground in the early 1990s. |

| This Giant Fish was located behind Phillips Garden, a landscaping business. It was created by Jeff Millikan and was installed in front of the building for several years. Another artwork replaced it and the fish was moved back into this storage area. I was told in 2007 that the artist would be reclaiming the fish soon so I assume this statue is gone now. For more, see this website. |
