This section focuses on Art Deco, Art Moderne, and Streamline Moderne buildings. I'm partial to buildings from the later period (Streamline Moderne) so you will find a lot more of that style represented here. The earlier Zig-Zag Moderne and WPA styles get a lot more coverage elsewhere on the internet and in books. I'm also fonder of small commercial buildings which also get less press than landmarked skyscrapers. You'll also find lots of other examples of Art Deco & Streamline Moderne buildings in other sections of my website (e.g., Gas Stations, Eateries, Car Showrooms, Five & Dime Stores, Tire Stores, Theatres, Diners, etc.) If you have suggestions of buildings that I might have missed, I'd love to hear about them.
