Miss Worcester Diner
Worcester, MA

The Miss Worcester Diner, aka "Miss Woo", is a Worcester (#812), built in 1948. The building across the street from it was the manufacturing plant for Worcester diners for many years. In 2004, the diner was closed because of a property dispute. It reopened in 2006 after a $40,000 makeover. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Blue Belle Diner [closed]
Princeton, MA

The Blue Belle Diner is a Worcester (#814), built in 1948. It was originally located in Worcester, MA and closed in 1998. It sat in the backyard of someone who planned to fix it up and open it in Milford, MA. In 2005, it was moved behind the Mountain Barn Restaurant in Princeton where it still awaits restoration. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.

Blue Moon Diner
Gardner, MA

The Blue Moon Diner is a Worcester (#815) from 1949. In 1963 or 1964, it was moved from Winchendon, MA to replace an older Worcester at this location. (According to another source, it was moved here in 1954 and renamed Bernier's Diner. The diner was closed for 16 years and reopened in 1976. In 1984, the Blue Moon name was assigned to this diner in recogition of the original diner at this site.)

In 1988, new porcelain panels were created to replace the “Miss Toy Town” panels. The interior has oak booths with blue leather seats. For another photo, see this website.

Charlie's Diner
Spencer, MA

Charlie's Diner is a Worcester (#816), built in 1948. The diner, previously located in Worcester, MA (left photo), closed in 2003. Around the end of 2003, it was moved to Spencer, MA (right photo) where it reopened in 2006. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Wilson's Diner
Waltham, MA

Wilson's Diner is a Worcester (#819) from 1949. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

Miss Adams Diner
Adams, MA

The Miss Adams Diner is a 1949 Worcester (#821). I'm not sure what the exterior condition is like under all that faux stonework which was added during its stint as a fried fish restaurant. The Miss Adams closed in 2002 and operated briefly in 2003 as a second location for Jack's Hot Dogs. In 2004, new buyers reopened it as the Miss Adams Diner again. In 2007, the diner was sold and redecorated with a nautical theme. It will be known as the "Captain's Tavern", a seafood restaurant. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
