Herschleb's was established in 1939 as the Herschleb Ice Cream Co. This building housed their manufacturing plant and restaurant. The place has been closed and vacant since 2006. These photos are from 2011.

Dairy Treat Wisconsin Rapids, WI

I believe the Dairy Treat opened around 1985. Does anyone know what was here originally?

Boy Blue Milwaukee, WI

Boy Blue was part of a chain established in the early 1950s. At one point, there were 35 locations in the Milwaukee area. The stands featured soft serve ice cream. I believe this is the only still-operating location left. The building design may have been inspired by Carvel stands.
