This former Sunoco station (originally Sun Oil) was built in 1924 and was previously located downtown. In 1982, it was moved to Carillon Historical Park which features many transplanted old buildings. The interior of the building has many old Sun Oil items. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

former station Canton, OH |

This building in Hamilton appears to be a former station. It was occupied by Mr. Motors when this photo was taken in 2009.
The former station in Canton was a Sohio station in the 1950s. It was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s. It now houses General Body & Towing. Does anyone know what brand was sold here originally or anything more about the history of this building?

former station Delaware, OH |
This former station was built in the 1920s or 1930s. It is octagonal in shape. The square building to the right was probably built later as a service garage. Both structures appeared to be vacant in 2009. The station closed in 1970 and was used as a restaurant before it was abandoned. The buildings were restored sometime after 2006. It was a Marathon station at one point but I don't know what brand was sold here originally. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. There is or was a similar station in Pontiac, IL.

former station Coshocton, OH |

This Girard station has some cottage details similar to Phillips 66 and Pure Oil stations but it was definitely not built as either one.
This Coshocton station now houses Huebner's Auto Care.

This former station is now occupied by ColorMagic Carstar Collision.

Northland Auto Sales Newark, OH |
former station? Newark, OH |
Northland Auto Sales was a Cities Service Oil station in the 1920s. The position and style of its chimneys makes me suspicious that this could have been a Pure Oil station instead. In the 1940s, this station was occupied by Sinsabaugh's Oil. More recently, it was known as Highway Oil. It has been Northland Auto Sales since about 1999.
This Newark building might be a former station. It appeared to be vacant in 2009. Does anyone know anything about this place?

Glen Echo Body Shop Columbus, OH |
The Glen Echo Body Shop appears to occupy a former gas station and service garage. There are no signs of any pump islands now. The neon sign looks 1940s but the building is probably older than that.
